Thanks to a generous grant from the Madison Arts Council, 30 city of Madison (non-student) residents can attend the Wisconsin Screenwriters’ Symposium for free. To access this free registration, please complete the information below, and provide proof of your residency when checking in at the Symposium. Note: unfortunately, this grant only applies to city of Madison, non-student residents, i.e. residents of Fitchburg, Middleton, Sun Prairie, etc. are not eligible.

• A small-group Writers’ Roundtable Lunch (limited to 15 participants), or
• A boxed lunch option without the small-group discussion.

A refund, minus a 50% cancellation fee, will be issued if you cancel on or before April 3, 2026. After this date, all registrations are NON-REFUNDABLE. Substitutions are welcome at any time. If the event is canceled for any reason, your registration fee will be refunded. WU Conference Management may require up to 10 business days to process and issue a refund. Please be advised: this event will be photographed and/or video recorded. Your attendance constitutes consent for your likeness to be used, without compensation, in promotional materials, social media, and advertising for The Wisconsin Screenwriters’ Symposium. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the event photographers/videographers. Any updates on the event will be sent to the email provided.
