Policy on harassment and discrimination

The Molecular Genetics of Bacteria and Phages meeting is committed to providing an environment where everyone is treated with respect and consideration to promote participation without harassment, discrimination, or violence of any kind.

 

Photography and Recording policy

Recording of oral or poster presentations by audio, video, or still photography is strictly prohibited. Material contained in abstracts and presentations should be treated as personal communication and cited as such only with the consent of the author(s).

 

Policy on liability

The Molecular Genetics of Bacteria and Phages meeting shall not be responsible for any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of participants, and shall not be held liable for personal injury, property damage, theft or damage of any kind suffered by the participants at or in connection with the meeting.

 

Weapons policy

For the safety of all attendees, the Molecular Genetics of Bacteria and Phages meeting are ‘weapons free’ and all conference participants, including staff, volunteers, and attendees, are banned from possessing any object or substance intended to cause injury to others, including but not limited to firearms.

Summary

Terms and Conditions
All cancellations must be received in writing no later than Friday, June 19, 2026. After this date, all payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. If a cancellation notification is received on or before Friday, June 19, 2026, the registration fee is refundable, minus a $150.00 processing fee. Program books are non-refundable.

Wire Transfers:
Please contact Conference Management at phages@union.wisc.edu or (608) 262-6696. All expenses incurred in the wire transfer must be covered by the attendee. Please indicate the delegate's full name as a reference on all bank transfers. In the event of a negative balance, additional costs will be collected on site.

Doing Business As: The charge will appear on your credit card statement as WU-Conference Management.
