Travel Award Opportunity for Eligible ISRB Member Trainees

Travel Award

The travel awards are specifically designed for trainees who lack the necessary funds to attend the conference. We anticipate waiving the registration fee for recipients. Only ISRB members are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to first authors of accepted abstracts who will be presenting their work, first-time attendees of ISRB, or trainees from underrepresented groups, including but not limited to women, African Americans, Hispanics, and individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Please provide a brief summary (under 250 words) of why you deserve to receive this award.

Parking permits are non-refundable

Parking Permit

Parking permits purchased through this form will be valid for 5 full days in a lot near Memorial Union. The exact lot location to be confirmed one week prior to the conference. Parking permits are ordered three (3) weeks prior to the conference and are nonrefundable at that time. 

Some lodging locations offer either complementary parking or parking for a small daily fee. There are also city parking lots nearby that you can pay for daily.

Attendees will also engage in discussions on professional development skills and career advancement strategies within the scientific community. Wire Transfers:
Please contact Conference Management at isrb2025@union.wisc.edu or (608) 265-6534. All expenses incurred in the wire transfer must be covered by the attendee. Please indicate the delegate's full name as a reference on all bank transfers. In the event of a negative balance, additional costs will be collected on site.

Doing Business As: The charge will appear on your credit card statement as WU-Conference Management.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing no later than Monday, July 28, 2025, to receive a partial refund. After this date all payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. If a cancellation notification is received on or before Monday, July 28, 2025, the registration fee is refundable, minus a $75.00 processing fee. WU Conference Management may require up to 10 business days to process and issue a refund.
