The Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE) is the American Chemical Society Division of Chemical Education's flagship meeting. It brings together chemistry educators from around the world and across all sectors and
educational levels to reflect on what we know about teaching and learning, share practical ideas, and move our work forward together.
Whether you are new to chemistry education or a longtime leader, BCCE offers a vibrant community grounded in connection, innovation, and progress.

  • You may register multiple conference participants in a single registration process. 
    Select the number of participants you would like to register below (including yourself, if applicable). You will then complete the registration steps for each participant in the order listed. 

  • Please note that conference housing reservations and parking requests are handled through separate systems and are not included in this registration process. Information about housing and parking are available on the website. 

  • A confirmation email will be sent to each registered participant.

Registration Type

  • Standard registration is for faculty and staff of four-year colleges and universities, industry, or government employees, and anyone not listed in the other registration types.

  • Remote registration includes livestreamed and on-demand conference content and allows participants to present a virtual poster or talk.

  • Guest registrations must accompany a registered attendee. Guest may exhibits, poster sessions, and evening receptions but do not attend technical sessions.

  • Registration fee includes: conference sessions, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, heavy appetizers each evening.
    *** workshops require an additional fee and breakfast is included in your University Housing (booked separately) ***

Join us on Tuesday, July 28 at 7:00 am for a Fun Run/Walk.

Meet by the Lake at the end of Park Street. It is a flat 2.4 mile loop along Lake Mendota shores. You will start at the Memorial Union and go along the Lakeshore Path to the entrance of Picnic Point and turn around to return to the Memorial Union. 
Truly one of hidden gems on campus.

Refunds will be issues to the original form of payment. • Cancellations received after July 6, 2026 will not be refunded. Conference registration cancellations are separate from hotel reservations and travel arrangements, which must be cancelled directly with the respective provider. • Workshop registrations are non-refundable. If a workshop is cancelled by the conference, participants may transfer their registration to another available workshop. • Guest registrations are non-refundable if the guest does not attend. Substitutions are permitted at no additional cost prior to the start of the conference. To ensure conference credentials are prepared in advance, substitutions should be completed by July 7, 2026.

Wire Transfers:
Please contact UW Conferences & Events at (608) 265-6534 or bcce2026@union.wisc.edu. All expenses incurred in the wire transfer must be covered by the attendee. Please indicate the delegate's full name as a reference on all bank transfers. In the event of a negative balance, additional costs will be collected on site.

Doing Business As: The charge will appear on your credit card statement as WU-Conference Management.
